I'm A Loser!

I lost 4lbs. I LOST 4LBS PEOPLE!

My first week back at Slimming World since November 2011 and I was dreading it...honestly dreading it. I had only been eating and drinking better by 50% and I remember the feeling last year when I didn't lose or I lost only 1 lb when I felt like I should have lost more. I really didn't want to experience that same shameful feeling again. No bread, no daily bag of crisps, no oven chips, no chicken nuggets... Good old jacket potatoes, baked beans, fruit, Ryvita Crispbread with Light Laughing Cow cheese spread and lots of vegetables.

I decided to join a Monday evening Slimming World group rather than last years Thursday evening group with my gorgeous friend Hannah so we wouldn't use the weekends as an excuse to be a pig. It's so much more motivating (and testing when it comes to wine).

It's a lovely way to feel better about yourself. Being on Slimming World hasn't made me hungry or miss out, it has simply made me food optimise, think about what I'm feeding my body and learn to try new foods. I LOVE IT! (If i don't lose next week then I may not be singing so loud)
