After an 11 hour day which involved dropping the kids off at nursery one direction, heading to work the other direction and 10 hours later heading back to collect the kids and head home. So after an 11 hour day what happens? Kids refuse to go to bed and hubby puts the football on. PERFECT!
After finally getting the girls to sleep I decided to hide in my craft room and make a few cards. It was the perfect opportunity to reflect on my day and have a break from the computer. I have so much going on at work that my mind is constantly thinking so it was really nice to sit in silence (I could have easily nodded off), make a mess (oh boy was it a mess!) and make some basic cards to share with you all.
This card is so small and so cute! The card is 3" x 3" from Papermania and it was actually a little challenge for myself. I have never crafted on something so small so this was a task. I'm determined to do more little cards and try new techniques though. I can imagine decoupage and crackle glaze would work well on a card this size.
I admit it. I am addicted to my new butterfly punch (it's so pretty!) and the Lucy Cromwell die cuts (due out in May - a perk of working for docrafts is that you can get your grubby mitts on the stash as soon as it comes in)
I can see how working on 3" x 3" can get addictive as it is a really exciting size to work with.
Bigger isn't always better folks ;-)

This is super cute hun :D Love the colour combo, so looking forward to getting my hands on the new supplies!!!
